FAQs

How does registration work?

To sign your child up for Harry Potter Camp, you must fill out the registration form, which is linked from the "Registration" page of this website. The full payment for camp must be made by July 1 (the end of registration).

Is Harry Potter Camp an overnight camp?

No, this is a day camp that goes from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm each day.

What will the camp cost?

$160 per camper. This cost includes a camp t-shirt, wand, stuffed pet, broomstick and other crafting supplies, all of which the kids will be able to bring home at the end of camp. The full payment must be made by July 1.

Do you have to read the Harry Potter books to attend?

It is strongly recommended that kids attending camp have read at least the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, before attending camp. The basic information about the world of wizards provided in the first book helps campers to fully experience Harry Potter Camp. However, it is not required, and we hope attending camp will encourage kids to begin or finish reading the series!

Can you accommodate my child's food allergies?

It depends on the type of food allergy. We will be serving snacks at camp but we’ll make every effort to accommodate your witch or wizard. Contact us by e-mail if you have concerns regarding your child’s dietary needs.

Can we buy extra camp t-shirts?

Yes, you can purchase additional shirts using the order form in the registration packet.

Can I drop my child off at camp early?

While this is not recommended, if you have schedule problems in terms of dropping your child off/picking them up within the timeframe of camp, please contact us by e-mail to see if an arrangement can be worked out.

The week of camp this year conflicts with my child's schedule. Will you have any other sessions this summer?

Currently we do not plan to have a second session this summer due to the schedules of the camp directors. However, if this changes we will be sure to make it known!

I just found out about camp but it's past the registration deadline. Can I still sign up my child?

Probably not. Feel free to send a quick email our way to double check, but the registration deadline is in place so that we have time to order and create all the supplies we'll be using during camp, and once those supplies are ordered we can't add any more campers.
